So many sifters for sale online are made hastily with the cheapest materials, or they come direct from China. As a result, they fall apart easily and don't last.

At MoonShark we take pride in every single hand-built sifter. We use the highest quality furniture-grade PVC fittings. We secure each part with strong, durable cement. We use black PVC coated, galvanized, solid welded metal mesh screens. We use UV & heat resistant nylon tie straps to ensure a strong, sturdy, and long lasting sifting grid. We complete the handles with premium grade textured rubber grip tape. Our leashes are typically used for paddle boards and surfboards, but we feel our sifters deserve a leash that matches their quality!

Meet the lead "sifter-smith"...
Christine Gorayeb has been an avid beach treasure hunter since she was little. She's been blessed with opportunities to reside in Virginia, South West Florida, and North East Florida- some of the greatest locations in the U.S. for waterside fossil hunting, shark tooth collecting, and seashell collecting.

She started MoonShark after she built her very first floating sifter and discovered what a game changer it is. The best finds are hidden deep in the gravel deposits just before the water hits the sand. So don't be afraid to get waist-deep with a MoonShark sifter and shovel- you'll be glad you did!
